Special wishes for someone Special !

I never made friends online before, thought it was so strange to just chat with someone and talk your heart out without having ever met them.. but you should never say never ! :) Thank God i didn't and met some extremely fabulous people who shared the same admiration & were awe struck by this new hunk - Sidharth Malhotra !

One of these fabulous people is Aleeya a.k.a Lee !

Why is she special ? We all know Sid has Favorited 3 of her blogs, so obviously she is THAT special, for me its this and much more....

I being very practical find it very interesting to see my "Madhuri" 
( Pooja from 'Dil toh Pagal hain' ) in her own fantasy world, she is always positive about things and sees the goodness in everything. I thought such people exist only in movies, but hey I found my Madhuri! She has a pure, gentle & genuine heart !!

I find strength in her as she always helps me when I am low and gives the much needed motivation. We call them "madhurimoments" !!Lol ! At the same time we have our fun too & can talk on any random topics now!

She is extremely sensitive, and also sensitive towards others, she is one girl I have seen who keeps RT'ing everyone's stuff and wants all Sidians to be happy. She truly is one of the most sweet souls around ! And after getting to know her no one would feel Jealous for the replies & Favs from SID, cause u'd know she deserves them completely !

She is also my blogging partner, we both have a love for writing & that helps us be even better friends ;) She is always willing to go through my blog drafts & 'proof-read' them ;) And this time around I don't have that help as this is a surprise :P

One quality I love in people is genuineness and she & SID both are really genuine and I love them more for this :) I also appreciate her honesty at the same time she is very subtle about anything she has to say, always makes sure nobody gets hurt :) She is my Friend, Philosopher & Guide ♥

Happy 1st SOTY !!

Blow a candle, cut some 'low-fat' Cake ( lets take a cue from our in-shape hero! ) lets Celebrate and sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to SOTY !! 

I have seen lot of crazy SOTY fans on twitter, its been a year and you can still see the hashtag - #SOTY used so frequently, testimony of how much we loved the movie & the star-cast.

I am a Sidian but I loved the movie as a whole, loved all the characters..be it Dimpy, Tanya, Shanaya, Pseudo or Rohan! We know SOTY Rocks, right??!! ♥♥♥

I love so many moments, some LOL ones, some eye-candy, some heart-touching & some well..."awww" ones !! ;) Here are some I can see over & over, and end up liking them even more with each #SOTY re-watch !

    ♥ SID - ALIA BY THE BEACH  ♥

Beautiful beach, Moonlight, twinkle in the eyes! If you are a romantic at heart, you know it just cant get better than this! Of course it was very scenic, both Alia and Sid look amazing, but it were those dreamy eyes that gave the scene just what it needed - LOVE ! It just melts me every single time!! ☻

                                                                           
  PIANO SCENE - Let the EYES do the TALKING

"You say it best, when you say nothing at all " :) This was perfectly depicted by Sid, Alia & Varun. To think, its a Bollywood movie, its a love & roothna-manana sequence, but there are no dialogues or songs for it ! Thats the beauty, and our beautiful expressive leads add their charm to it and make it even more appealing ! And need I mention the background music piece is so pleasing to the ears!

TREASURE HUNT - Non-stop excitement!

Some of the reviews I read said the Treasure hunt was one of the weak parts of the movie, but for me it turned out to be the most entertaining part ! The amazing shudh-hindi puzzles, the tiffs, the confusion and most importanty Jeet's one-liners, Jeet you are a genius! ;) And it has the perfect end, Sid is so gorgeous when he is running ( sorry had to mention ;) )

ALL's WELL THAT ENDS WELL :)

The heated argument, the bloodshed, 10 years of animosity, all it took was "maine sau ladkiyo ke saath" and the egos are crashed & smashed ! I did not expect / predict the fight to end on such a humorous note!! Love how they try to be one-up while enlisting their individual achievements & then burst into laughter, hug & make-up ! well yeah..its the awww moment :P

THE BROMANCE !! ♥♥♥

Like always, reserve the BEST for the LAST ! I love " Tu kiss toh nahi karega na" , "saale gale bhi nahi lagaoonga" part ! And yeah it comes THRICE in the movie!! Sid-Varun scenes were so refreshing, fun & entertaining ! How genuinely you both care for each other was so evident ! The hugs, the sometime-awkward-hugs reminded me a lil of Chandler & Joey ( from F-R-I-E-N-D-S ). 

There are many many more moments, trust me it was soooo difficult to limit them to 5 !! 
Here's to #1YearOfSOTY ! 3 Cheers !!

Special mention to @SidMalhotraFC  and all my wonderful Sidian friends who keep the SPIRIT of SOTY alive and FRESH as though it was released just yesterday!!

Mashup of the Year - Featuring Sidharth Malhotra !

**DISCLAIMER - This one might be a bit lengthy, all the patience appreciated :D**

It all started when a friend of mine was humming ISHQ WALA LOVE, so i looked up the song to listen and I spotted the most gorgeous man ever to grace Hindi movies - Sidharth Malhotra 
Its been a year since then and my love & admiration for him has only increased, if anything else !
The year that was.... <3

SOTY PROMOTIONS

Yes you guys were everywhere! But we were not complaining one bit! ;) If i was bowled over by your looks in the song promos that i saw, your amazing voice left an even bigger impact! 

Like you already know we girls luuurrrveeee your voice! And then you can sing too - cherry on the cake ;) ! You do the "Vele Rap" soo well!

Loved your honesty, your shy, coy outlook and of course your sense of humor ! 

UTV Stars rapid fire round, when Alia and Garima answered Ranbir Kapoor, you said RK without listening to the question, hilarious!

So bottom line is, I really started adoring you more now...

Some of my favorite Pre - SOTY moments :

1. Front Row : Ok I am biased here cause you look soooo yummy!! Sorry but no other word does justice to it ;)

2. Ponds Webchat : I loved the interaction you all had, was so real and so much fun! I mentioned this before, but Varun rightly said "Sid ne apne aankhon se thooka hain humpar". And aww, you blush so much when girls are praising you & saying they wanna marry you! 

3. SONY Candid fun Interview : This was the best interview of all, you can even see this is one of the first results you get on YouTube when you search Sidharth Malhotra ! Your reaction to Alia's answers were so incredible, I can see this one over and over ! and Do i need to mention how GOOD you look??? No right?!! :P

So bottom line is, I really started adoring you more now...

THEN CAME... STUDENT OF THE YEAR.. THE MOVIE...

Ok, I admit i went with a biased, preconceived mindset that you would be the best thing about the movie, I was going to favor you irrespective of your skills, and then you impressed yet again and this time in HUGE MAGNITUDE !

Your entry with (right )attitude, style & confidence

The amazing expressions : special mention for yellow shirt scene by the beach with Alia, spellbound to say the least! & how good is your dialogue delivery !

Love the way you run!final run in the treasure hunt scene gives me goose bumps always!!

And you said its difficult for you to emote on songs!! REALLY??? Just go see Ishq wala love,U are completely that HERO who can convince with his expressions in a song-n-dance routine!!

So bottom line is,I really started adoring you more now...

SPL MENTION : Could see that sparkle in your eyes at Gaeity Theatre on the reaction to SOTY, so heartwarming to see how grateful & thankful you were to Karan and expressed it too!
My love & respect for you grew tenfold!

AWARDS SEASON !!

I have to mention that all 3 of you were so confident while performing, you definitely showed you have arrived & how !

RED HOT PANTS & unzipping your jacket surely burned the dance floor ! you truly are Kukkad kamal da!

The most enjoyable part was U, Varun n Kjo grooving to the dance numbers! Man, when you react to "Humne samjha tha Golden Jubilee jise" - U do look like Golden Jubilee (You know what I mean right! ;)!! :P

"Fevicol se" - thought of doing a racy item number yet??!! you should!

The bromance with Varun while hosting was so.."ahem ahem" (Clearing throat in your style!! :D ) 

Oh and yes! you looked uber cute in specs!! And the "Kal ho na ho" dialogue rendition was a highlight! Left me wanting for more!!  *sigh*




And yeah you got your first award right here !! I am sure its proud moment which not just you, all your fans will also cherish!

So bottom line is,I really started adoring you more now...


ADS and EVENTS :

Yes we cant get enough... of you of course!! :P Confession : I did manage to eat a Cornetto just coz you look so yummy eating it! ( I DO NOT LIKE ANY SWEETS ! )

Aviators are meant for you darling ! U make them look good, trust me!

Was it a strategy to release the coke ads with u more in focus in the end? Coz they truly saved the best for the last!

And yeah who wouldn't want to be a pillion rider if you are riding the bike??!! 

And how I wish you'd be my stylist for few minutes! Lucky are those 21 girls!!

So bottom line is,I really started adoring you more now...

And the Others...

No, I and mostly a lot of other Sidians have not missed any of your appearances
The adorable unadulterated front row appearance, Coke studio Launch, Arjun's Birthday party, Gippi / Ship of Theseus / Bombay Talkies screenings,etc, etc..
Every time your new pic is out, it sends out a wave of excitement & happiness and Sidians are all in a brightened up mood ! ( That applies when you tweet as well, SO TWEET MORE WILL YOU !! ;) )

And so that you know we don't just praise you & love you, we also support & stand by you!

Proud Sidharth fan !

I had dedicated this space to write all the stuff i adore about my favourite Bollywood actor - Sidharth Malhotra.. was meant to be a fun blog, however today I feel the need to stand up for him and show him how much we love and support him after reading some really absurd and baseless articles floating around !

So the rumor says he sued a bunch of SCHOOL boys ( fans apparently ) for an astronomical amount of Rs. 10 crore !!!

FACTS :

This website has been up since SOTY released and they kept posting articles & pictures and Sid never seemed to mind..like any sensible person would.. the problem started when they started selling merchandise using his name..someone tell me how do some naive school kids do this kind of unethical business using an actor's name? 

Thats when he issued a notice to them and even admitted this piece of news himself. Where and how do these 10 crores come into picture? Is there any proof or evidence or has he or his managers given any statement?

Well i do expect and have seen a lot of rumors, quite a few being downright irresponsible in their nature about Bollywood celebs, nothing new ! i know ;)! Here's whats upsetting me, I see lot of tweets cashing on this news..people are blindly believing that Sid has become too big for his shoes!

Sid's Fan facts :

• He has always obliged for pictures with fans - I know some personally
• He replies to his fans on twitter frequently
• He has taken the effort to acknowledge the gifts he receives from fans, by searching them on twitter and sending a personal sweet reply
• He has personally interacted with lot of fans during events 

Why would he sue a FAN club, when he respects and acknowledges his fans ?

Everyone who has worked with him say he is quiet and takes time to open up, that cannot be mistaken for attitude. I am stumped by the kind of tweets i see from people cashing on any nonsensical news and bashing Bollywood celebs! 

Sidharth we know there will be negative articles about you, its part n parcel of showbiz, had it been a link-up or some trivial issue I wouldn't feel the need to react, but you are a FAN person, who have given us so many sweet tweets and replies to cherish, so seeing a news about you being COLD to your FANS really hurts us cause we have experienced firsthand how much you go out of your way to appreciate your fans!

WE LOVE YOU SID, not just for the Actor you are but also the person you are, we know how much your fans mean to you, and you would never do anything that hurts or breaks us!

Anytime you need to feel upbeat, login to twitter and just see the amount of love your genuine fans have for you! it'll definitely outweigh the negativity, I am confident!

I already admitted I am smitten, now let me add to it..I am mesmerized by him!!

Sidharth Malhotra!!! Oh yes I am smitten too!! Just like those 100K + followers on twitter :)

Thanks to the amazing world of internet, twitter, FB, instagram...We all get to see Celeb appearances at a lightning speed! I, like a lot of other girls like to observe the different clothes & styling our celebs bring to the table, here's my take on my Siddy Boy's amazing sense of dressing !!


1. Let me start with my Favorite look of his! ( I love the others too, this one gets 0.01 % more ;))

YES! Its the Cool, Stylish and well-fitted Tees with Jeans / Cargo's look

Whether it was the coco-cola branding tee ( Ye its Dolce, i know;)! ), The US Flag Print tee ( You said its your fav brand - ZARA ) or the simple plain strong colors tees with a collar, you look effortlessly stylish and pleasing to the eye! This look is often completed with pair of canvas and a cool stylish watch!

2. Light plain shirts with Jeans..sometimes Cargos

Love these Slim-fit shirts you wear and all the colors look wonderful on you!

Yes when it comes to shirts have seen you choosing lighter shades, whereas your tees are mostly darker in color. And do I need to mention how much WE girls love the fact that top few buttons are well..unbuttoned :P You look very charming and cute in these!

3. This is another fav - Jackets teamed up with Casual wear!

Trust me very few guys can carry this one off well! This one adds to the impact you leave without looking too formal or Casual ! I strongly loved the White Jacket look, look absolutely Dashing and Smart to say the least!

4. SUITED UP!! 

Guys always look their best when they wear Suits! There is a chance of looking the same in all formal appearances for men, cause of the limited colors in this department! However you wore Black thrice and Styled it differently everywhere and looked Handsome and Debonair every time! The Purple Jacket was such a welcome change and you rocked the look no doubt!

All in all, lets end it by saying you truly are stylish, never go over the top and always manage to stand out with your amazing dressing! aah and most importantly you wear that super cute Smile which always always makes you look the BEST!!
